Social
"To have the welfare and harmony of the fraternity at heart, striving ever to make our lives a symphony of high ideals..."
At Zeta Tau Alpha, our social calendar is always full of fun and exciting events! Our Director of External Social plans plenty of mixers to give our sisters the opportunity to meet the members of the fraternities and sororities across the Panhellenic Council, Interfraternity Council, Black Greek Council, and United Greek Council communities. Mixers are usually themed and consist of good music, good food, and fun activities! One of Zeta's most memorable mixers was a Vine themed mixer where Zetas and the men of Sigma Pi dressed up and reenacted their favorite Vines!
Our chapter also has a Director of Internal Social who is responsible for planning social events among the women within our chapter. The Director of Internal Social plans our Spring and Fall formals where our members can each bring a date to laugh, dance, have dinner, and take plenty of pictures!
While Zetas are known for having fun, we are also known for being safe. Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity has processes put in place on an international level to ensure that we plan fun AND safe events for our members. Aside from event planning, Zeta has also put out programming such as My Sister, My Responsibility and Alcohol Skills Training Program to educate our members on social responsibility and the dangers of abusing alcohol.
